Environmental

At Motive E-Port Shipyard we take environmental stewardship seriously. Our facility is a zero discharge shipyard, which means all water (weather event, and process water) is collected, treated, and sampled before disposal. We have also implemented alternative techniques whenever possible to reduce environmental impact. An example of such techniques are down spout planters, to naturally filter runoff from roofs.

All of our employees & subcontractors know specifically what our Best Management Practices are as well as our expectations for them to strictly adhere to these. This all begins with source control, proper environmental containment, and the necessary tools to work safely while we perform our industrial activities. But above all else we are leading by example so future generations can carry the torch of good environmental stewardship.
